Friends of Chevalier Supports Mystic Valley YMCA at Inspiration Celebration

Friends of Chevalier Auditorium & Gene Mack Gym was proud to support the Mystic Valley YMCA’s 2026 Inspiration Celebration, an annual event that brings together community members and supporters to celebrate the programs and services that make a difference throughout the region.

For the past several years, the Mystic Valley YMCA has operated the Medford Youth Center (MYC) in Gene Mack Gym, providing year-round programming for local youth. The center offers after-school and out-of-school time programs designed to support children’s academic, social, and personal growth.

Through activities focused on literacy, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math), and social-emotional learning, the Medford Youth Center provides a welcoming space where children can build skills, explore interests, and connect with their community.

Friends of Chevalier is proud to support the continued use of Gene Mack Gym as a place where Medford residents can learn, play, and grow. Partnerships with organizations like the Mystic Valley YMCA help ensure that the historic Chevalier complex remains an active and valuable community resource for generations to come.
